Art 2 - Four Collage Examples

Look at the collage artists below.  Which one is your favorite?  Notice how they use a variety of tones and textures of the same color.

  1. The first one is my favorite because you can still see the words from the clippings that they "collaged", but they aren't so apparent as to overpower to picture the artist was trying to portray.

  2. I like the first one the best because it reminds me of things I did when I was a child, and it is just very nicely created.

  4. I like the first primarily because of the bubbles. I would think it would be extremely difficult to replicate the shiny and reflective aspects of the bubble while staying in line with the rest of the painting.

  5. I like the first collage because even though it is made of many different clippings, it still looks like a very clear picture. Depending on the way you look at it, it can look like one image or it can look like several different ones.
