Check out the attached video for printing tips. The girl is a pretty good artist but needs to paint those nails ;) Also, make sure you watch the video instead of comment on the photo. You won't get full credit if you don't.

It looks like printing will be pretty easy compared to the rest of the process.
ReplyDeletehow she does it is interesting but couldn't she make something a little less creepy. Its like what she made is haunting and looking into my soul.

I agree in that she needs to paint her nails

That's really cool that you can make more than one print without having to wash it! And you could see where she striped it to make it look gray. (I agree that she's in real need of a manicure!:)
ReplyDeleteThis is really detailed and neat. I don't see how they did the beard hair though. But it looks really cool.

The printing of the linoleum with ink looks much easier and less time consuming than what we have done already. I am looking forward to this break from difficult things.

The finished piece looked amazing! The rest of the process looks a lot easier to do than all of the cutting we've had to do.

Nice camera angling haha. I really just like the sound the brayer makes with the ink on the metal surface. Her print makes me feel kinda bad about my tree frog hahaha
ReplyDeleteIt's pretty awesome how the whole thing is so detailed and how you can tell it's a linoleum print.

ok first off she really does need to work on them nails they are looking rough! and its awesome how creative this project is and how detailed and cool these things can look. the worst part is stabbing yourself in the hand. but other than that I like this assignment.
ReplyDeleteLooks like the printer will be much easier. Loves the way it ended up turning out!
ReplyDeleteits very cool and interesting how she puts the ink on and how it turns out it is very beautiful

you can definitely tell that it's a linoleum print from the way it is cut. This is a really good picture.
ReplyDeleteLooks pretty easy and fun, although i don't know if I would trust Avery with the ink roller...

In Photography, we put the Lino block on top of the paper and pressed it down, but she put the paper on top of the block and pressed it down...very interesting.
ReplyDeleteI like how glossy it looks when she uses the oil paint.
ReplyDeleteShe spent a long time rolling the ink onto the areas with the smaller cuts, looks like a good idea I guess. Another good idea would be heading down to the nail salon...

I like how detailed it is and hope mine turns out like that.
ReplyDelete-Ryan
I like the way the print came out. It is very technical and a lot of contrast in the print.
ReplyDelete-Kyle Bradley
This print is crazy. the detail is insane. it was cool how you have to make sure you get ink on everything so its clean.
ReplyDeleteits awesome how much detail went into this. lots of contrast too

This is so detailed, it makes me kind of ashamed of mine. I think the lady needs to cut her nails, and be less creepy! But even with the creepiness, it is still cool.
