Oh wow. I don't know if I can choose a favorite; each one is just so different from the last. The second one has a cool bone-like appearance, but I think the first is my favorite because of its coloring. -Hannah Colquitt
My favorite is definitely the first one because it sort of reminds me of starry night with its choppy paint looking details. It also reminds me of coral with its three openings. The big thing that really makes it stand out, though, is the pant and how the artist purposefully darkened the indentations from the coils. It's a really cool look.
My favorite is the last one because it reminds me of Salvador Dali's painting 'The Persistence of Memory,' with the melting clocks. Not only is the design of that pot interesting in its complexity, but it is also mysterious in its convolutions and chaos, a chaos that is juxtaposed with the order on the bottom half of the vase, giving the pot a a whole an interesting dichotomy of meaning. -Paul Young
It is not surprising that I chose the first one to be my favorite. The first one is a clean-cut defined shape. I like how the base expands and opens up into three distinct sections. The texture on the outside is interesting and looks archaic. It reminds me of lichen that grows on trees.
I like the third pot because of the contrast between the smooth pot and the spikes. It also has an interesting shape to it and the "crack" down the middle adds to its uniqueness. -Elizabeth Smith
I think all of the pots are cool but the last one is my favorite. I like it a lot because it has a bunch of spikes all over it. Also, it is really neat how the pot opens up and can still keep its shape. -Mikayla Mobley
I like the third one the best because it looks like the hardest to make and its the most intricate design, and is amazing that all of the spikes are in perfect shape.
The Second one and the last one are my favorite. I like the second one because of the edges that hang off. The last one is very impressive and must have taken a long time. I like it because of the detail and dedication. - Sarah Andrews
