You will be working on your mail art piece this week. Read the directions carefully and put it in your mailbox to go out by Friday.
Below is another example. Mrs. Simmons completed this for us. The first image is what I sent her, and the second is what she did with the same instructions that I sent you all. Have fun with it!

Mrs. Simmons' example is really interesting and I love the little birds. Seeing another example of how to darken the letters while still having a creative background really helps me think of more ways to decorate mine.
ReplyDeleteI think that it is really cool how Mrs. Simmons used her postcard and created a piece that is almost unrecognizable from the first. I especially like how she used shading to make the ribbon pop.

ReplyDeleteMrs Simmons did an incredible job on her piece. I really like how she used pencil on the ribbon and shaded it to make it look realistic. Her birds are also very pretty and remind me of spring time. Overall she did a great job and was so creative.

ReplyDeleteMrs. Simmons' idea was very unique. How she was able to turn that piece of small information given into a great idea full of great imagery is amazing. The background contrasts very good from the picture of the birds, leaving the birds to pop out at you.
