They have to be very detailed. The ones that don't have as many carved in lines as the others aren't as good. The most detailed ones look the most realistic.
The more detailed ones are definitely more interesting. It looks as if they started out just drawing simple lines and transformed it into something complicated.

Block prints have a lot of detail. The ones without a lot of detail don't look as successful as the ones that have a lot of detail.
