Check out the attached video for printing tips. The girl is a pretty good artist but needs to paint those nails ;) Also, make sure you watch the video instead of comment on the photo. You won't get full credit if you don't.

I can't wait to see how my stamp comes out. I doubt it'll be as great as the lady's in the video or the stamp above, but maybe it'll be interesting.

The video helped me to better understand what we're going to do with these and the man in the picture looks like he's made from straw

ReplyDeleteRachel Buckland
the video gave me a good visual idea of what were are doing to print it. I was not expecting that to be the way we were going to do it
ReplyDeleteStephen Dance
I feel like what the video portrays is the part of this project I'm going to mess up the most. The stamp looks really cool though.

ReplyDeleteHer stamp was so good!! Now I want to put it on OUR water color paper!(:
ReplyDeletedecent stuff. idk why she had so many copies of the same thing hanging up in the room but whatevs. she seems to know what she's doing. im like 70% impressed with her art skills. it gave me a good idea as to how the process works though.

This video helped me in showing me what I need to do in the next few steps and how to stamp it on. The man is very detailed, and it shows how the direction of lines can make a difference.
ReplyDeleteThe process was great! I hope that I can remember to use it on mine!

I hope we aren't using watercolor paper for our prints. I didn't like how the solid black on her print had a bit of bubbles in it. Do we have linoleum cubes or ours about the same thickness as hers. I couldn't really tell in the video, but I heard her talking about how the cubes were harder.
ReplyDelete-Haley Harden
I am jealous of her stamp, it was perfection and there were no double registers. I think it would look better on watercolor paper though.
ReplyDeleteher eyes looked strange but it still looked good. sorry I could not be there today I was feeling sick.
ReplyDeleteThe girl is a good drawer, because from her carved, I think she does that very carefuly.
ReplyDeleteAnd when she does this printing, she does this very slowly. So if I do this, I should be slow too.
Tia Ouyang
Her stamp was really good and detailed. This video will help me in stamping.
