Art Two - Painting before 1850
The paintings below were created before 1850 (and before the wide use of the camera). What are your thoughts?
Art One - Drawing in Pencil
The drawings below were all completed with pencil. Which is your favorite?
Ceramics - Wheel thrown pieces
See the examples of work thrown on the wheel. You will need to complete another wheel thrown piece for quarter 4. Instead of being graded on completion, it will be graded on size, thinness and overall form. This is a project grade. Do not wait until the last minute.

Art Two - more paint by number examples
Below are examples of more paint by number images. Notice how flat the colors are. Thoughts?
Art One - Victor Vasarely
Victor Vasarely, was a Hungarian–French artist, who is widely accepted as a "grandfather" and leader of the op art movement. His work entitled Zebra, created in the 1930s, is considered by some to be one of the earliest examples of op art.
What do you think? Which one is your favorite?
"Zebra" 1938 - This one is not radially symmetrical but is by Vasarely.
