i likes the painting called"The Daughters of Edward Darly Boit". I really liked this one because all the girls look very realistic. And there is so much detail that goes into this artwork.

DeleteMy favorite painting is the one by John Singer Sargant called "The Daughters of Edward Darly Boit" It looks so lively and has such good contrast and colors.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite painting is the James McNeill Whistler painting called "The Artist's Mother." I like all the detail in the curtains and even in the floor/rugs. The way that Whistler did the lace on her head garment was also really good!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite painting is "Christina's World" because it seems like she is the only one in the world. She is in her own universe without any disturbances, laying in a field. I also like the depth that the painting provides.

all of these paintings are very photo-realistic and each are very detailed. the more you look at each painting the more details you pick up and the more interesting they get! my favorite is the one where the family is sitting at the dinner table and the turkey is coming out because it looks like a 1940s type of post card or something like that
