Ceramics - Wheel Throwing

If you need to, watch the following videos and comment:

You will need to complete a wheel thrown piece for Quarter 3&4.

QUARTER 3 ENDS NEXT FRIDAY, MARCH 10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you haven't thrown and trimmed your wheel thrown piece, you will need to find a time to get it down between now and next Friday.  Remember it is a two day process - one day to throw, let it dry a little and one day to trim.  Do NOT wait until next Thursday.  You may use class time, your study hall or after school until 3:45 most days.

  5. These videos are really helpful to see up close the process of wheel throwing and i think they will be beneficial when i throw on the wheel for the first time. I enjoyed the centering video because it really takes you through the steps of getting the piece nice and lined up to make everything easier.

  6. I am excited to do this. I'm nervous that I will mess it up though. I think centering will be the hardest part.

  10. I really enjoyed watching these videos because they gave me tips that I didn't know before. I especially liked the centering video because I'm terrible at centering and need as much help as possible.
