It is sort of close to painting, which I prefer. But it is more time consuming than painting. Also, with painting you can make whatever color you need, but collaging you have to hunt forever to find the perfect color. I like the collage process, but I would rather paint.
The collage process give the piece a unique "thrown together" look that painting cannot give. Collage definitely takes more time but can look just as good as painting if done correctly.

ReplyDeletethis looks awful to make. it looks like it took forever. the colors are no where near what they actually should look like yet it looks really cool

seems like it would take a lot longer to make a collage instead of mixing your paints you have to find your colors very nice
