Ceramics - Blog 10 - Amphora Glaze

What is your plan for glazing your symmetrical amphora?  What color or combination of colors will you use?

  1. I think I'm going to do a peacock glaze on the inside and a peacock with crystals(I forgot the name of it) on the outside.

  3. I think I'm going to use either the blue glaze with the navy and green crystals on it or do black glaze with gold leaf on the rim.

  6. I wanted to draw figures like real Greek amphorae, but I don't see that happening, so I'll do dark on the bottom and light on top. -Paul

  8. Since I haven't made mine yet, I am not sure but I am excited to make mine! I love the shape that I came up with and I really hope I will be able to stick to that design.
