My favorite thing we did this year in ceramics was the big coil pot. I enjoyed making it without having to plan every detail of the shape it was supposed to have because it was interpretive. I also liked picking out the glazes I wanted to use on the inside and outside, but the actual glazing of the pot was probably the worst part. I am also really excited to see how mine turned out because we had to leave before they were done firing so I like the suspense.

My favorite thing we did in art this year was our paint by numbers project. When i first came up with my idea i felt like i was in over my head but in the end everything was super rewarding and i'm so happy i went with my gut and kept going on with the project and not changing it.
I loved doing the clay pots. It was hard and very tedious to do, but the result was so rewarding. Everyone's turned out so cool but they were all so different.
My favorite thing we did this year in art was the big coil pots. I liked how the shape pretty much made itself. When i first started it, i did not think mine would turn out as well as it did. I enjoyed glazing it and picking out the different glazes for it. This was such a fun class!
My favorite project this year had to be the paint by color. The color mixing part was probably my least favorite part of the whole project but after that it was fine. Drawing the whole thing was fun and then painting was just and easy quick task because all the colors were premade and all the areas for coloring were prepared as well. I thought my painting turned out pretty well on toop of that, I thought it was going to look really bad. - Josh Lincoln
my favorite project was probably the wheel pieces that we did. Although they were not the easiest to do it was still fun every time i got on the wheel. It was also very satisfying once you got the clay centered.
my favorite piece we did this year was probably to tissue paper portrait. it was tedious but fun. I liked layering the many colors to make new colors. I also liked that it was somewhat abstract. Caroline Bennett

My favorite thing that we did this semester in Art were the clay pots that we did in the beginning of the semester. I enjoyed making the clay and using the slip and being able to create my own bowl from technically scratch.
