Art Two - Non-Objective Painting

Jackson Pollock
“It’s all a big game of construction, some with a brush, some with a shovel, some choose a pen.”   “The method of painting is the natural growth out of a need. I want to express my feelings rather than illustrate them.”  “Every good painter paints what he is.”

Wassily Kandinsky

Hans Hoffman

  1. All of these paintings are very abstract and cool looking. My favorite is the last one because I like how it looks messy but also very unique.

  7. The second one is rough but the last 2 are really cool. I like how it is block-like and the colors are happy.
