It was interesting how much effect color has on people. I thought it was neat that colored glass came at the end of the depression as a way to add color back into people's life.
ReplyDeleteI think it is cool how much impact color can have on a culture, and how color effects the trends that flow through our society. I agree that color is like an emotional language and that we have three different types of association with color: universal, cultural, and individual.

It's weird that colors can affect your behavior. For example they said that red will make you walk faster, eat more, and talk more. On the other hand, cool colors like blue make you become calm and relaxed.

The most interesting part to me was seeing the colors change with the decades. Some colors and patterns stayed the same while others were introduced, morphed, or dwindled out.

I think it's cool how you can tell what colors compliment or clash each other just by looking at the color wheel. It's neat how people pick their favorite colors based on experiences, and associate things in the world with colors.
