My favorite painting was a painting of Diego Rivera's. It was called sunset 20. He painted it in 1956. It was an oil painting that he painted of a sunset. All of the colors were wonderfully blended with sea foam greens and baby blues. There was also a touch of pinky orange incorporated into the painting. Katherine Strickland

My favorite painting was "Still like with small utensils," by Diego Rivera. I like how the colors were dark but calm, and I also liked how there were many different angles and surfaces. There was more than one way to view the painting.

I liked "my Dress hangs there" by Frida Kahlo. it was painted in new york, during the industrial revolution. I like the symbolism and somewhat random objects. I also liked how intricate it is. Mckenzie Peterson
My favorite paintings were two specific paintings of sunsets by Diego. They were very different than of her work. The specific ones i loved were sunset 5 and sunset 2. Besides the fact that they were so different from the rest of her work, i absolutely loved the colors and the blending of the colors together. They all flowed so perfectly. Reminded me of the Caribbean or somewhere like that Hannah Hurt
My favorite is the Juchitan River mural which is a big painting of oil on canvas. It depicts two men, one very big in comparison to the other, reaching across a section of the river. I like how it looks so different from all his other paintings, and has a really interesting broken textured look. -Savannah P
