These paintings are a lot more "blurry" I'd say compared to the art pieces last week. These have lots of dept in the art work although and they look very different and cool.
ReplyDeleteThe colors seem to be more vibrant and noticible compared to last weeks pieces. They also include a variety of different shapes that make them unique.
ReplyDeleteThe paintings from this week are a lot less realistic than the previous paintings. The first group of paintings looked like photographs more than paintings because of how crisp the images were, while this group is a lot more blurred.
ReplyDeleteThe paintings become a lot more colorful and abstract. The paintings of 1850 are very dull and realistic.
ReplyDeletethe paintings this week are not as clear as last weeks. Also the paintings are not as realistic too.
ReplyDeleteThe paintings this week are more abstract than the previous photos. The first group of photos could have been photographs because of the realistic painting style.
ReplyDeleteThese paintings are abstract. They are less realistic than the other pictures we saw.
ReplyDeleteThe paintings have a lot less details, they are more abstract and contain shapes that don't have any real order or place.
ReplyDeleteJohn Coleman Tidwell
The paintings slowly become less realistic as time goes by. They become noticeably more abstract and strange.

These paintings aren't completely "dull", but i can say that they are nowhere near as complex as the paintings that we are custom to doing.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is the third painting of the little girl. I have never seen this painting and thought it was really pretty. I love how it all blends together, yet you can distinguish all the different shapes. I also really like how you can see the brush strokes.
ReplyDeletemy favorite is the last painting because it creates the illusion of looking through some kind of glass or at a mirror while also being a great portrait.

My favorite is the painting of Starry Night because of the different colors and patterns it portrays.
