It's amazing that paintings done so long ago can have so much detail and contrast within them. It's also amazing how they can paint these still pictures without the use of another picture or with a camera. - Marshall
i like the first one the most because of its endless meanings, it can mean a whole lot of things and i just really like it. i also think its really cool that these were before the camera.
These painting are so amazingly detailed for being created such a long time ago. These paintings were created without a reference picture to base off of which is a very hard thing to do.
These paintings are astounding without having a camera or photo to base off of. The details are precise and each of these pictures have duller colors which is interesting.
i like the second one because it is so cool thinking that the painter used their observation but also their imagination to capture such a precise image
I like these paintings because of the detail, especially in the last one with the reflections on the water. These pictures represent the emotion of the people during war and the meals with their family. -Haley
I love how much time that the most have put into those because they didn't really use cameras so they must have had to have people stay there for awhile to paint that and also how they captured the good timing of the sun hit their main focus in the paintings- Gabby
I like how somber they all feel. They're all beautiful, but though the action is different in all paintings, they all feel somber to me. My favorite one is the first painting.
It is amazing to me that these paintings are so detailed when the artist didn't even have a picture to look at for reference. They clearly put so much time into these and must have had a great memory and imagination.
i liked the wide angle painting bc it shows more movement in the picture. I also like oil paintings like these because the color seems to stand out more
These paintings are very elaborate and show what the country was going through and how people lived during this select time period.
