Both Edgar Degas and Georges Braque are very talented and unique artists. However, I like Edgar Degas art work better. I like the detail he used in the ballerina painting and the detail in the landscape of the horse painting. I like more realistic paintings so this is why I like Degas work more. -karsten herron
I like that both Braque and Degas are French, it makes them seem more classy. I like Degas, and I know he has several ballet paintings, those are always quite beautiful. Braque is just different all around from Degas, because he is more Picasso or cubist, while Degas is more realistic. My favorite painting of these would have to be either the ballet scene or what appears to be a game of polo, because they are both capturing a scene sort of in action. I like the idea of capturing life in a painting.
My favorite painting is the skull painting. All the different patterns and textures make it very interesting to look at. All his use of shapes and lines make it super cool and abstract. Mary Dixon Turley
I really like both of the artists' paintings but my favorite artist is Degas. In the painting of the dancers, you can see the emotion on all of the girls faces. However, I really like the last painting of Braque because it has a lot of personality and has multiple objects worked into one unified painting.- Mary Daniel Windham
I really like both artists, but my favorite artist is Edgar Degas. I like him because in the first painting with the dancers, you can really see their facial features and they look extremely realistic. zoe neisler
I prefer Edgar Degas's paintings because his are more detailed and the colors look very pastel. I like the one of the horses because of how detailed it is and how realistic it looks.
i really like degas's work i love the one with the horses the detail is amazing and how he even made it look like they are moving is so cool.- eden hill
Degas's work is my favorite he uses lots of color, shapes and different textures of the paint. I love the first painting by him, that is the girls in the dance studio. They are both great artist though!
My favorite of the two painters is Degas. His paintings are far more readable than Braque's and I like how they are very realistic. I think I like Degas' more because I like to paint realistic and blended -annabel wilson
These paintings are awesome! My personal favorite is the last one with the skull. Something about it just intrigues me! They are all very different and have their own style which is really interesting.
All of these painting are really cool to look at but I like the impressionist painting more because they are more lifelike. Im sure the impressionist paintings were much harder to paint that the cubist
I really like all of the paintings but I like Edgar Degas's paintings better. My favorite painting was Degas's painting of the horses. I like that his paintings are not perfect and that they are colorful while still being realistic. Taylor Gordy
These paintings are very good! my favorite one is of the girls in the dance room. there is so much effort and color put into this painting. there is so much color and it looks so real. All the other paintings are very good also with the different texture, shades of color and what was involved in that painting Cardin Weaver
I like Edgar Degas‘ painting because it is very clearly. I like his thinking during the time to painting that he is think about the details. It is not easily to do. I really like his painting. —Kevin Wang
I really like all of these paintings but my favorite is Edgar Degas' painting of the dancers. It has so much detail and I like the texture of how he painted it. savannah terrell

both artist really think outside of the box on the way they paint and i really like that. my favorite is braque because i am a big fan of cubism and i like the way his cubism paintings form together. reid wilson

My favorite work of Degas from these above is the painting of the dancers. I have grown up seeing his paintings of dancers everyday, so they are very familiar to me. However, I also like the work of Georges Braque, especially the last painting with the skull. It could be that for some reason I just really like skulls, but I like the colors in it and how there isn't much depth.
I like both of the artists. The detail in Edgar Degas paintings is really interesting. Also, the painting of the horses is my favorite from Degas because you can see movement through the painting. My favorite painting from George is the last one with the skulls because it is very cool and I like the colors. -Ella Tanner
Both of these painters are very talented. I like Edgar Degas' painting more because they are painted in a more realistic way. George Braque's paintings have a cartoon look to them. -Jackson Dawson
My favorite paintings are probably the Braque paintings. The cubism is something you don't usually see and brings a different perspective. It seems easy to paint but I'm sure it isn't.
I think I enjoy Georgie Braque's painting a little more than Edgar Deges'. I like how in his pictures he paints from the heart and adds so much little detail that make the picture better. I think my favorite one is the last one because i like the setting and how it is so random and not laid out. -Brady Roper
I like the painting of the ballerinas because the artist shows depth very well when he painted this and he also used colors that made the entire room seem shaded and more realistic because the picture took place inside. The more you look into the painting the more you realize everything in the painting is leading to a focal point to one girl in the middle which is very thought out
I prefer Edward Degas' paintings overall, but I like George Braque's painting with the skull a lot because the way the pale lines stand out against the muted colors is very striking in a subtle way (though that is a contradiction). The textures in that painting are so detailed and unique which is another big reason I like it. - Miriam Kim
I like the painting of the ballerinas by Edgar Degas because the amount of detail he put into the clothing. It's very impressive how someone can create the illusion of the clothing being clear using art.
My favorite is the painting by Edgar Degas of the man because he is able to use geometric shapes to create an abstract of the man which is interesting to look at.- Bailey Casteel
I prefer the work by edward Degas because I like how it is more realistic than George Braque's. my favorite painting was the first one by Edward Degas and my least favorite was the last one by Georges Braque. -rebecca ennis
