The paintings from last week appeared to show a lot more depth and historical figures/events while these paintings appear to be more flat and represent ideas/are more expressive. - Marshall
ReplyDeleteit seems like these paintings are a lot more creative and colorful compared to the others
ReplyDeletethese paintings are more colorful and bright compared to the ones from last week. the ones from last week were very dull and these are not. -haley
ReplyDeleteThe paintings this week seem to be much more colorful and bright. Each painting seems much more vibrant than last weeks.
ReplyDeleteI think that the last paintings were more of historic scenes and were sort of the same styles and techniques. these are more expressive and creative but still have history.
ReplyDeleteI like these paintings much better than last week because they are much more bright and colorful
ReplyDeleteThese paintings all have their own flair, they're not all smooth and close to perfect. They have varying style and brushstrokes, etc. The paintings from last week were more somber and seemed to be following rules for art, but these paintings show that there are no rules!
ReplyDeleteThe paintings after the 1900's are more shape based and abstract. They have more straight shapes instead of the blending of different colors.
ReplyDeleteThe ones that are for this week look less detailed but they still are. They are not as focused as the ones from last week. They still get everything but its more loose.- Gabby
ReplyDeleteThese paintings are more colorful and imaginative than the ones from before 1850. It looks like the artists used their imaginations more rather than trying to recreate an exact image.
ReplyDeletei love the painting by picasso because of the use of geometric shapes and simplicity. i noticed that they are a lot different than last weeks because these paintings use more colors and shapes
ReplyDeleteI like Gustav Klimt's picture because it's yellow and romantic, nd i saw a pair of socks that had this print on it. I plan to buy them. Erica Fuller
