The settling process consists of moving the clay to several differnt pools with each pool having a different purpose. I would so not be in a ceramics class if we had to do all of this. -Abbie Burns
I think that its really cool how so long ago they figured out how to create a kiln that was able to make the vases change colors by increasing and decreasing the oxygen amounts. -Bryce Floyd
it's hard to imagine having to go through that much effort to make the clay when all we have to do is get it out of the bag. And the amount that they had to make and wedge at the same time is insane. - bella bosse
it aggravated me how he said vases. but i could never make a pot look so smooth and elegant. this seems like a lot of work assembling them piece by piece. - Deldra Draper
i am very appreciative that we can buy our own clay... making it like they did looks AWFUL

I can't imagine just to make a decorative vase all the difficult processes and how long it takes - it's crazy
