i think that if you make it small it makes it more enjoyable but if you make it huge it becomes a pain and no fun. but over all it isn't my favorite thing to do whe nit comes to clay.
Working with slabs is definitely more difficult that building with coils. If your slabs aren't too big it makes it a littler easier, but the slabs, if they aren't dry enough, flop around and break easily. -Hannah Pittman
i like working with coils sooo much more. Slabs collapse and you have to worry about making everything even. It seems like there more room for error with slabs.
I like the outcome of the slabs and how they look more than I liked making them. they are hard to make, but it was fun because they were each a unique looking slab box.

ReplyDeleteit is a little difficult to work with white clay but overall not that hard and after you glaze it looks really awesome with not a lot of effort
