Art One - Chairs

Below are paintings of chairs by Vincent van Gogh.  He was a Dutch painter who lived and worked in France (1853-1890).  Which is your favorite?

    i like the last chair painted in this sequence because of the contrast of all the reds and greens. -kate

    My favorite chair is the last one. It looks like an old, antique chair that my great grandma would have donated to Goodwill. But i also like the colors Van Gogh used in the painting because it put into perspective the antique feeling. Wynter Callahan

    all the chairs to me look unstable. Like if you sat in them they would just break. I kinda like this look.

    I like the fist chair the best because i really enjoy the aesthetic of the warm yellow tones and the cool blue tones.-Tenley

    All of the chairs look like they would make annoying noises and would break after awhile. I like the first one the best because of the colors
