I like the the portrait of George Washington not just because of how well it is painted, but also because of its importance as the first presidential portrait in the history of the United States. - Marshall

ReplyDeleteThese pieces are truly American and capture the American dream and the pioneers of this country.
ReplyDeleteThe second one is a mood. It how i feel when i go to French or English. Although like I like all of them, i think my favorite are "Christina's world" and "The Children of Edward Darly Boit." they are very intersting to look at but they are kind of bleak looking.
ReplyDeleteI like all of the paintings, but right now I like "George Washington" because recently I saw a piece that someone made of it and it was all jellybeans. (Plus the real painting is just super iconic to me and I like it)
ReplyDeletei like the last one because it captures the happiness that comes with thanksgiving and being with your family.
ReplyDeleteI like all of the paintings but I like the last one the best because their facial expressions make me laugh.
ReplyDeleteI like the second one because it is such a classic American painting that everyone knows about and the people look very sad
