Egyptian Canopy Jars
African Pottery
Maria Martinez - Mexico
Acoma Pueblo - New Mexico, USA
The ancient Greek pottery was my personal favorite because of the stories they all told. The paint and lacquer that covered the sides of every vase and pot told a story that held meaning and significance to the Greek culture.
ReplyDeleteI adore the Egyptian Canopy Jars because I've always loved Egyptian culture and Egyptian mythology. And I can name the gods on the jars just by glancing! Horus, Anubis, -probably- Sekhmet, and -most likely- Osiris.
ReplyDeleteThe ancient Greek pots are my favorite because there paintings tell a story.
ReplyDeleteThe Acoma Pueblo because I like the design, the shape and the symmetry of the pot
ReplyDeleteI like the Acoma Pueblo because of the white and black designs that they did around the pot. Also how the shapes start small and get bigger at the bottom of the pot.
