Very informative. My favorite part was when he put a smiley face on the side of the pot at the end of the "Pulling the walls" video.
ReplyDeleteI think this will be a very fun project. The videos taught me a few things I will remember to do when we start.

these are very helpful and give you ideas on how to throw clay. this will help when i start the project
ReplyDeletei think that centering and pulling the walls will be the most difficult part of using the wheel. Looking forward to making a pot soon

These videos are neat and very interesting. I'm really excited about throwing and seeing how hard it actually is. For me I think that "pulling" the walls is going to be hard. Worried about making the walls to thin and the bottom portion to thick.
ReplyDeleteafter watch the video, i become really interesting of using the wheel, the most hard part i feel is to find the center of the wheel, and need to control the thickness of the pot.

these videos were very informative and i am looking forward to using the wheel.
ReplyDeleteThese videos were very enlightening, and get me excited to start throwing. The only thing I'm worried about is centering the clay because if it's just the smallest bit off it screws the whole thing up.

Throwing on the wheel is one of the most impressive things in ceramics. The videos helped to shed light on the trickier parts like getting the piece centered and pinching it open.

I'm so excited to do this. It looks pretty complicated. The hardest part looks like it's going to be centering it.
ReplyDeleteim excited to start throwing it looks really fun but it also looks exceptionally difficult the hardest part looks like centering it or opening it without putting too much pressure
