I like his free form because it is very smooth and simple. It is a lot like our free form pots because he starts with a certain shape as his base and changes it as he moves up the piece.
ive literally only been smoothing my clay sculpture, and it isnt even nearly close to how smooth those are. its unfair. Really impressive how they shape them to look so perfectly round.
I think they all look so cool and it's similar because it's not plain/ordinary and they can all be any shape

They are really different and super cool!! So far it doesn't seem even remotely similar to my free form clay work.
ReplyDeleteNot similar. most of his free forms don't have a bottom, a starting point. looks like it just happened- they just appeared.

howww did they get it so smooth???????
ReplyDeletewell they just sort of formed itself and wasn't a certain shape that they followed, i like them
ReplyDeletei think they are similar because there wasnt a specific shape or form he was following, they just formed itself.
ReplyDeletethese are really weird but yet I am amazed of how smooth they look.
