Your colored pencil drawings will be due next Wednesday 9/10. You may need to take it home over the weekend to get it closer to being finished.

I've learned through doing this project, that getting a good skin tone is very difficult. The artists of these drawings did a great job at getting it even and life like! (I like the 2nd one the best.)
I agree that the second one is amazing in its detail and ability to evoke emotion even if it is disgust. The last one though has captured a gentle serene acceptance of life that is compelling. The detail and skin tones are wonderful, I have always been drawn to the wisdom and beauty in our "older" citizens.
I feel like some look, not just real life, but as if the real life itself has been enhanced to a greater detail and resolution
